Jewellery can hold memories, sentiment and symbolism, with the wedding ring being one of the most symbolic of jewellery pieces.

The wedding ring is a timeless emblem of the love and commitment that a couple have for each other. So what better way to express that commitment than to handcraft each other’s wedding rings - an opportunity to design and make your unique expression of your love.

In my relaxed, hands-on and tailor-made workshop day, I will be guiding you through the process of creating your wedding rings to your own designs. By the end of the day, you will have created wonderful memories to take home along with your beautiful handcrafted rings.

How much does the wedding ring workshop cost?

This private day session (yes, just the two of you) costs £425 per couple, this includes tea, coffee and refreshments, lunch at my local gastropub and a glass of bubbly. Also included is a complimentary zoom or in-person consultation, where we can discuss your design ideas and metal choices. Hallmarking of your finished rings is also included in the price, as is delivery of your rings in my branded ring boxes.

The price does not include any materials - these will be confirmed once the consultation has taken place.

How far in advance of the wedding should we book?

Planning a wedding can be stressful, so the more time you allow the less pressure you’ll have. Once your rings are made, if you’d like them hallmarked I usually allow 2 working weeks for completion, so I would suggest at least 3 weeks before your wedding date for your workshop.

How do we choose our wedding ring designs?

Two weeks before your workshop date, I will arrange a consultation (either in person or via zoom), where we can discuss your design ideas, ring styles and metals.

How long does the wedding ring workshop take?

I like to allow a full day, starting at 10am in the morning, this will give you plenty of time to make your rings after first getting used to the tools and practicing in silver. The day will run at your pace, with me guiding you through the process. The session also includes a lunch break.

Do we need any jewellery-making experience?

No experience needed. You will have a practice run in silver and I will guide you through the whole process, as well as being on hand to help you as much or as little as you need. Simple wedding bands are really rewarding to make and easy to perfect in a day. If you have any other design requests, I’m happy to discuss these during the consultation.
